This is a difficult one to answer, as I don't know the reason behind your need for repeat stropping. It may be that you have a very tough or wiry beard, in which case there's no real answer, or you - and please don't take this wrongly! - may simply not be stropping enough prior to the shave. Again, it may be that your razor is approaching the stage where it needs to be honed and that the strop is only just able to bring it back to shave-readiness. If you are confident none of these apply, I would suggest a change to a stainless steel-bladed razor might help, as stainless - though harder to hone and strop - does, when in good order, keep its edge noticeably longer than carbon steel.
